In 1892, a mercenary enters the crumbling Crowfield estate, determined to end the reign of a feared elder vampire. But instead of a battle, the mercenary finds themselves face-to-face with an ancient figure who has been waiting for their arrival. The vampire does not resist. Instead, they begin to unravel the story of centuries lived, of bloodlines and betrayals, of the slow weight of immortality. As the night unfolds, hunter and prey are drawn into an uneasy dialogue — one part confession, one part negotiation. Within the fading grandeur of the estate, questions of purpose, mortality, and choice echo louder than steel or fang. What begins as a confrontation becomes a reckoning, one that lingers well beyond the walls of Ash Hollow.
